WHO DO YOU WORK WITH?

I have worked with a variety of population in various settings. Through experience I have created a niche where I have the most success with clients. I work best with women in their 20's, 30's, and 40's. My clients tend to struggle with high functioning anxiety and/or depression. They struggle with letting go of control, self-esteem, overthinking, and motivation. Often they have already done some of their own work through the self-help arena and traditional talk therapy. My clients are willing and motivated to get to the roots of the patterns and symptoms that have played out in their lives so far.

WHO DO YOU NOT WORK WITH?

I do not work with clients that are "high-risk". Online therapy is not the venue for this. This would include things such as an active eating disorder or addiction, suicidal ideations and personality disorders.

WHAT IS ONLINE VIDEO COUNSELING?

I am very excited about being able to offering online sessions. The convenience and accessibility make it easy to fit in to a busy schedule! There is no waiting and travel time, and you won’t have to take time off work or other priorities. Plus, it’s 100% HIPAA compliant and secure.
Through audio and video over the internet, you can meet with me on-the-go from your desktop, laptop, tablet, or mobile device  it’s your choice!
Telehealth allows us to connect anywhere with secure and convenient appointments that save you time and hassle. There’s no need to deal with distance or traffic when you can schedule and attend your appointments directly from a laptop or mobile device.  
You’ll be sent a link for the video appointment. Click on it when our appointment is scheduled to start our session. You can use the camera and audio on your computer or mobile device.

HOW WILL I KNOW THAT WE ARE A GOOD FIT?

You are welcome to get to know me through my social media accounts, website, and blog. If you are here you probably have a sense that we would make a good fit.

HOW MUCH DO SESSIONS COST?

The session fee is $225 for 75 minute intake session and $200 60 minute weekly sessions.   
I accept all major credit cards and FSA/HSA cards as forms of payment.

DO YOU TAKE INSURANCE?

I do not take insurance in order to provide 100% confidentiality for my clients. I want you to be in control to pick the treatment length, the treatment approach right for you, and not have insurance interfere with your unique needs and goals.

 I can provide you with a statement of services that you may submit to your insurance for reimbursement. I recommend checking with your insurance for more information. I can not guarantee reimbursement from your insurance company. 

WHAT IS YOUR AVAILABILITY?

I see clients Monday through Friday. My hours range from 8am to 4pm depending on the day. When we meet for the first time we will discuss scheduling and find a time slot that works best for you.

IS THE FIRST SESSION A FREE CONSULTATION?

The first session is not free. It's an intake session that is 60 minutes long to get to know new clients and begin to assess mental health needs.

HOW OFTEN WILL WE MEET AND HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE?

We will begin with weekly visits to build momentum. Therapy is most effective when we are meeting weekly. Every client is unique but in general I see clients weekly for 4-6 months and then we begin spacing sessions out.

WHAT HAPPENS IN THE FIRST SESSION? HOW CAN I PREPARE?

The first session is all about getting to know you and your needs. I will ask you about your current struggles and some of the goals you have for therapy. We will also discuss your history. 
Starting therapy can bring up some anxiety. I want to make sure you are as comfortable as possible. Find an environment that feels safe and confidential. Wear what makes you feel comfortable. I encourage you to join the session link (this will be sent to you once paperwork has been filled out) a few minutes early to make sure your camera and microphone are working.
